Officers and Governance
Clan Jack is guided by a small team of officers who volunteer their time and expertise to support members, maintain our traditions and protect our heritage. These roles reflect the formal governance structure of the Society as registered in the United States.
Chief Executive Officer
John descends from one of the oldest known Scottish Jack lines and has been at the centre of the gatherings since 2008. He is our hereditary Chief in the cultural sense and provides continuity, historical knowledge and leadership across all Society matters.
Chief Financial Officer
Jill has more than thirty years of board and record-keeping experience. She manages the financial governance of the Society, ensures compliance with state and federal requirements in the United States, and coordinates administrative operations.
Chief Technical Officer
Carl brings decades of technical and business experience. He supports our digital systems, online processes, website development and the technical protection of our intellectual property.
