Welcome to Clan Jack
Clan Jack began as a small gathering of Jack families in Scotland in 2008. What started beside an old castle kitchen has grown into a global community of relatives, friends, and descendants, with hundreds of members connected across our website and Facebook group.
Our roots are Scottish. Our people are everywhere. We honour the heritage of the Jack surname in all its spellings. Some began as Jak in Scotland. Others trace back to Jacques through French or Norman routes. Today our family lines reach across Scotland, New Zealand, the United States, Australia, Canada and many other parts of the world.
As our group continued to grow, we recognised the need to formalise our organisation so we could protect our tartan, our crest artwork and our cultural heritage. We are now a registered non-profit Corporation based in the State of Utah in the United States. This structure strengthens our ability to preserve our history and bring together Jack families for generations to come.
Who we are
Clan Jack is a worldwide family society for anyone with the Jack name or a close connection to it. We welcome descendants, relatives and friends who feel a link to the name and its story.

Stay connected
Our Facebook group is the busiest meeting place for members. It is where we share new research, gathering plans, photos and family stories.
